Join us outdoors for a weekly nature exploration!

Mudskippers is for children under 6, their caregivers, and siblings. Typical meetups may include read-alouds, science experiments, nature walks, and art projects to encourage excitement and wonder in our natural world.

This weekly, guided, hands-on activity is at the intersection of art and science. With a different project each week, participants will learn new tools and methods for bringing creativity to life. FREE with admission, or with a PDSC membership.

HANDS-ON CLASSES
FOR SCHOOL AGE STUDENTS

PDSC partners with Pullman Parks and Rec. to offer a variety of classes and camps throughout the school year, school breaks, and summer months. Check the most recent Parks and Rec. brochure for updated offerings and to register. Limited scholarships available.

TEEN ROCKETRY WORKSHOP

Over a 2-day workshop, participants will build and test different types of rockets to learn about propulsion, pay load, and flight. This workshop is lead by PDSC Educator Jess Jones, who recently attended a NASA rocketry training in VA.

IGNITE: TEEN VOLUNTEER EXPLORATION PROGRAM 

This 6-week, cohort-style program is perfect for teens eager to learn about volunteerism, non-profit work, and the importance of community engagement.. Participants who complete the program will be invited back as official PDSC volunteers in 2024, working directly with children and families.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

GROWNUPS! Test your sleuthing skills at “Mystery at the Museum," a thrilling 18+, after hours event at the science center. Guests will become detectives, immersing themselves in a captivating "who-done-it" mystery. Harnessing the power of science, math, and logic, participants follow a trail of clues to unmask the culprit. A week before the event, registered attendees receive identities and costume suggestions, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening. Tickets include light refreshments, PDSC admission, and game props and materials.  

Two chilling dates to choose from (same game scenario for both dates): 

Friday the 13th of October and

Tuesday, October 31st 

7:00 to 9:00 PM 

$25/person
