The Palouse Discovery Science Center is currently offering unpaid internship opportunities.
An internship with the Palouse Discovery Science Center will help you gain work experience in a fun and professional setting. Our internships offer opportunities to gain youth education experience, non-profit experience, and community programming experience through the lens of hands-on, informal STEAM education.
Interns will have the opportunity to organize and conduct the PDSC’s lessons, write educational content under the tutelage of the education staff, experience the diverse responsibilities involved in working at a non-profit organization/science museum, and develop programs and systems for long-term use at the Science Center. In addition to working at the PDSC, interns will also experience what it's like to serve their community through outreach programs throughout the Palouse region as well as planning exciting events with community organizations.
